AMD teases Radeon R9 Fury X2 again

by WhyCryFebruary 12, 2016

AMD used to tease its dual-GPU products for some time now. So with no surprises AMD employees, including former TechReport editor Scott Wasson, have now began teasing new upcoming dual-Fiji GPU, also known as Fury X2.

The Radeon R9 Fury X2, is in my opinion the most anticipated card from AMD right now. We are still months away from Polaris launch, so it’s not like anything more important is about to happen this quarter.

The first information about Fury X2 was revealed in June last year. So it took 7 months to finally get this project working. This is actually very disappointing that we had to wait so much time to get more information (and probably even more to even buy one).

The previous teaser came from Johan Andersson from DICE, which often takes part in those teasing campaigns for AMD products. That twitter post however was from November.

I really hope Fury X2 will be revealed soon, at competitive price, because that’s the only way this product could be successful.
