Maingear announces its Nomad VR gaming notebook

The super-high-end notebook segment has just received a new member from Maingear.

Nomad VR is 17.3-inch notebook equipped with desktop components. Starting with Intel Core I7 6700K, FullHD IPS panel, 64GB of DDR4 2133 MHz memory and two 512 NVM Samsung 950 Pro SSDs in Raid-0. Of course it also comes with full-fledged GeForce GTX 980 8GB on board, which was recently announced by NVIDIA.

In case you’re wondering this notebook is almost identical to Eurocom’s Sky X9E notebook.

Specifications for the Nomad VR include:
