Pascal and Volta entries discovered in NVIDIA GeForce Drivers

by WhyCryNovember 4, 2015

The first traces of Pascal and Volta architecture have been found in GeForce drivers.

The new GeForce driver (358.66) released by Microsoft has some interesting data.

In OpenCL runtime we can find new capabilities:

Pascal
-D__CUDA_ARCH__=600
-D__CUDA_ARCH__=610
-D__CUDA_ARCH__=620

Volta
-D__CUDA_ARCH__=700

The new functions were also added. Unfortunately their purpose is unknown.
